We believe in a world where race and zip code do not impede healthcare.
The Shop Docs is a Black and female led non-profit which launched in 2016 to improve the health of our patrons while they wait to get their hair cut. By partnering with the most trusted member of the black community, the barber, we prevent illness before it causes morbidity and mortality. Our innovative approach connects underserved communities, especially those affected by racial disparities, with healthcare.
